See, this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. Sure, the school has a “controversial” policy on pregnant students. So what? Lots of schools do that. You take the risk, you pay the consequences. What really bothers me is the fact that everyone is all riled up because a school in some faraway place did something that offends you. Do you go there? Do your kids go there? No? Well then, why is it your problem? IF your kids do go there, and you don’t want them to be exposed to that, take them somewhere else. Problem solved. Its a charter school, not a public school. You have to choose to go there, and you most likely have to sign something somewhere sometime stating that you have read and understand the Student Handbook.
